Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals launched Badr Maternity & Delivery program in an online event attended by expecting mothers, doctors, senior management among other dignitaries. Dr. Deena Al Afsoor, Head Clinical Committee, Oman Women’s Association was the guest of honour. Badr Maternity & Delivery Program is a comprehensive package which in the special journey towards motherhood aims at covering everything from the time of conceiving and delivering in a professional and caring manner. It is a comprehensive one covering both antenatal care and delivery.

Asif Shah, Head Branding and Communication and host of this event presented the overview of the program. He said this affordable program, available at all centres of Badr Al Samaa Group, will have flexibility to join in any trimester and pay in installments. All routine investigations including viral markers, consultation with obstetricians, ultrasound scans, growth scans, NST (non stress test) scans and deliveries will be covered under this program which is starting at OMR 250. At the time of enrollment special points of contacts will provide special counseling sessions to expecting mothers.
Dr. Tahira Kazmi, Senior Consultant (visiting) Gynecologist, Badr Al Samaa Hospital Ruwi in her keynote speech on woman’s health from puberty to menopause explained the type of care to be given at each stage. Every stage in women’s life is important as there are different threats and risks associated to it.
Dr. Smitha Mohan, specialist gynecologist at Badr Al Samaa Hospital, Al Khoud discussed various ways to ensure healthy pregnancy. She gave valuable advices on diet, do’s and don’ts, exercises, work & travel during pregnancy.
